Writeup:

2sM over 2NT

To start, we scored by making each point worth 1 point, an allcap worth 3, and a hold worth 6.

Round 1 was pretty intense. We had just taken a nice wholesome assraping against ABLE in a scrimmage pre-match, so we didn't know what to expect from the clan we were about to face since we knew they were coming from CS. We started out on offense and had a bit of a hard time figuring out who should play what initially, but we managed to get it moving an got an allcap. We went on defense and it was an absolute disaster -- they scored on us very quickly. We went back on O and had a very intense battle that somehow resulted in us slowly capping C. Round ends 2-1 (12-6)

Round 2 was absolutely nuts. We knew what to expect a lot better this time. We started out on defense and made a few changes. We actually held B for considerably longer than before but slowly but surely they got it and managed to get C. However, fortunately, we went absolutely nuts on O and managed to cap all three within a few minutes which was fantastic. Back on D, they turned the tables and ended up really hammering us down. We fought hard but there wasn't much we could do to stop their ubers. Good sniper as well. Finally, we go back on O, and they give us a serious run for our money at both A and B. However, we slowly but surely managed to grab both, B being quite an operation that required some serious coordination with our ubers and stuff. C was just an all out mayhem rush because the match was almost over. But somehow we prevailed and brought the round 2-2 in the last 15-20 seconds.

GREAT match 2NT. In the future, as I discussed with ninojman, we'd like to see this map played as one round entirely offense and one round entirely defense. Hope to play you again soon 2NT.

GG!
