So after a stellar 2-1 record in the SL we get put in gold to face off against [carrie] tonight!
Rd 1 and I have this really good strat idea, it involves teleporters. I won't go into details but it turned out to be the worst strat ever! EV-ER! They got the two neutral flags right away. I'm gonna blame it on pubbing and thinking there is a delay before the neutrals are available (that and no practice). Well our D shut down faster than the toilet after Senor's monster shits. We gave up another point somewhere (return? I'm not sure how scoring even works!), but our O pulled out 3 points and rd 1 ended 30-30.
Rd 2 came back to our server and after we figured out how to get pm on it, we decided to scrap my ill-fated plan and rush for neutral flags! It worked I think cause we got a 20-0 lead going. Our D, again, locked down and held them to 0 points. UNTIL! With about 5 minutes or so left butta gets the 4th flag. We are like "WOOHOO! YES!" until he caps it and we realize we only got 10 points for it. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with this map? So it's 30-0 but they get the two neutral flags on the rush! OWNED! Luckily the round was almost over and we held onto the last flag. It was a gg [carrie] and probably would have been more fun on a different map. Although we tend to excell on maps where llama play in encouraged. See you soon!
