Holy unseen first round Batman!
As Robin ran into the batcave it looked as though everyone had been packed away quickly! Unknown to the daring side kick Robin the justice league had been called to duty once again! After recovering from their face off vs -mk- our heros were exhausted and many of them were on break; aquaman, green lantern, apache cheif, black vulcan and solomon grundy, the only ones still at the hall of justice ran to meet their dartin foes IN! the x factor! (Dun dun dun!) The second that we landed in our box like room.... with ramps... two ramps...? and holes in the roof? an elevator with lava and stuff near it...? Well hum. APPARENTLY! Black Vulcan still can't fly the thing right. Either way, we sent our African American Avenger along with his grunt of a buddy off to steal'ems teh evil weapon of doom!
The small attacks launched on our extremely, extremely vaulnerable ship were thwarted for the most part by Green Lantern, Apache Chief and Aquaman! Though a few klog dancing hoodlums managed to squirm by and steal a few of our rations we found ourselves mostly unscathed.
Back at the hall of justice! Strangely close to the batcave our other heros were just figuring out where their companions had aloofed too! When located, we decided to give our purple monkey friend gleek his first chance to fly; figuring he couldn't do much worse than Black Vulcan, strangely enough he did just about the same, our position again placed in the middle of the most vaulnerable spot one could think of!
Once landed the super friends dispersed to their normal locations! The super monkey paired up again with Black Vulcan barraged the enemy, one using his natural cunning monkey knowledge; the other using his hard learned harlem street smarts to steal the enemy weapons! Batman and Robin teamed up in the hull of the ship attempting to defend the rest of their hard earned rations for they knew Solomon Grundy would be hungry after todays battle. Fearing the thought of his distraction by the food he was banished to the ramp room to tell us when the gremlin attackers used their amazing flying abilities to attack from above!
By the end of the long battle the super friends had nullified their enemy and all went back to the hall of justice for a few beers (The kids and monkey excluded of course).
