The 2a Title Match!
Prematch: IOD was shaking their booties as well as shaking IN their booties, because anything important scares us like 6th Sense scares us. Ok, so maybe just me. We were afeared though because we had won 3 games in a row from straight forfeit wins. How dare we claim a shot at the title against the jeje clan that actually earned it through skill and the art of hiring professional hitmen?
Rnd1: Three moments before we went in their server for round one, Schtoofa gets an important phone call. Apparently some things are more important than tfc, things I'll never get to understand. Thusly we put upon the Shankenhauser to rough us up some Defensive Soldiering. Prematch ended and round 1 began with IOD getting the security down and the flag out before jeje got to security. We did a pretty good job holding the button, me as demo, Shank as sol, and MJ as the master HW. I think throughout the match, Shank and I tk?d each other at least 6 times, 3 of which were double tks. It ended up in our favor the majority of the time, replenishing nasty spam to dish out to jeje. Clan jeje played a clean and professional match, and DD and BR barely eked out the last cap to make a formidable 60-30 match.
Rnd2: We had 3 people switch out and in came Ant and Schtoofa and Kang. Ant was nervous about playing, promising us that if he played we'd end up losing. What a modest ant! Doesn?t he know he can lift 10x his weight in caps? He and DD continued to drive the Major H4xm0b1le of Cappagages for a total of 50 points. Kang heavily weaponed a very nice hw, and Schtoofa rocket jumped his way to fame and fortune. I continued to pretend I could demo by spamming nonstop and putting a hand over my eyes while I shot blue pipes at incoming scouts and meds. At one point our flag got caught up in the water and ladder, and defense ro-sham-boed as to who would get tk'd next to return with more grenades. Mirvs trump rockets every time! We held the flag for most likely a frustrating 10 minutes for jeje, but they managed to pull it out to our shame and their glee. 50-10.
Firstly, let me say what an honor it was to play jeje in the title match, they are a really fun bunch of tfcers who play a clean match and give tfl a good name. VGG jeje!
Secondly, let me plead with anyone who will listen not to put us up in 1a where they are big and mean and steal your lunch money. *Points frantically at the doctor's note that says IOD shouldn't be moved up!! 3 forfeit wins in a row!!*
