Excellent game TFCC! Thanks for a clean well played match.
It was a very exciting match watching our defense slowly falling apart and almost having ultrium melt down again (apparently "ultrium" is a type of "soft" metal) - I attribute that to emp-shock, but that's another story. To make a long story short, the defense managed to pull their heads out of their butts at the end of the second round. The offense did their job, as they usually do when they remember which night is match night (pssst arch - it's TUESDAY nights) and don't drop off the internet during PM (pssst calling - charter sucks ass). Anyways, both teams slowly traded caps the entire match, resulting in a tie breaker third round, where spies and ultrium played a stingy defense on the catwalks and arch & fade managed to get the first cap.
Ah hell, it could easily have gone the other way. Although we squeaked out a fluke victory tonight -against all expectations- we were placed into Gold against our knowledge & wishes, where we proceeded to get our butts whipped. For anyone that's reading, we'd still appreciate being sent back down to Silver, where we belong. Heck, we wouldn't complain about Bronze either.
Thanks again TFCC for a heart pounding game, and perhaps our only victory in Gold before being sent down to our rightful division.
