fuct over HLHS
WOW, after 2 straight losses, we were deffinitly ready to come back for a win tonight.
Tonight, started with us fiddling around with about 5 different strats, finally coming down to one at the last minute, as we crossed our fingers, we all joined HLHS?s server with high hopes.
R1 ? Zsplit, Slim offense | Goodguy, Dual (welcome back!), and nick on defense
This round started right off the bat with a cap on the rush, and it pretty much didn?t stop from there on. They changed their strat around a couple times, finally finding one that worked fairly decent holding the flag for a little bit longer time than previously. The offense was still able to pull out 12 caps. On the defense side, it was pretty cut and dry, they made a very valiant effort and got the flag out a NUMBER of times, but it still ended up returning everytime but once, which they had a pretty nice grab and was able to take it home for the big 1. rounded ended 120-10.
R2 ? same offense, | same defense except Plague in for Nick
Round had a fairly similar start, and the offense, yet again kept pouring it on, and bringing them out one at a time. They held it a few good times and did some stalling, but the round ended with us grabbing 20 caps. On the defense side, things got a little sticky due to the fact that hlhs brought in their platinum all stars, which did an AWESOME job in my book, (I speced them in the hltv a lot) they both went scout and started tearin things up, grabbing a relay or two, and making a nice conc out the top side of above the flag. The highlight of this round would deffinently be when they got the flag out in the yard on their side, our hwguy pretty much stood on the flag, and was ripping through their offense, which our med kept healing him so he wouldn?t die, amazingly that flag returned, and it was a pretty good feeling. After they russled a few more caps out of the yard, the score ended with us 200, them 90
