Well, well, well. I bob will take over the write-up duties tonight since oNE is currently taking part in his conference call from hell. I mean, someone has to governor all the small people and the billions and billions of dollars, right?
Anyways, tonight marks the return of Nomad, hopefully this time we won?t get an admin asking questioning why his name is on multiple rosters. :P Nomad was our late add the other night and recently one of our most valuing adding additions to our team in some time?. *cough* not dal *cough* Nomad and Brown ran O both rounds for the night and needless to say, brown sure fell in love with Nomad? I mean, 43 touches in one round, who wouldn?t? Spies (73-19, nice job) was the cornerstone of the D again as NG, with dal (42-8, sigh, it will do) and myself (27-18) holding the RPGs. With the exception of an early cap, due to some miscommunication, we held together quiet nicely. It was nice to play D again after all the O I?ve seen, and to see the pure ownage that is dal, up close.
Moving on to round 2, we held the same roster, but my connection which has been pretty stable for the past few weeks went nuts about 5mins in. This allowed Cow (15-11) to see some action and he filled in great. Like a carbon copy of the first round, Nomad and company made another 45 touches and pulled away comfortably. Worth noting, SC played one down for some time and since I didn?t play, I imagine the lone cap pulled would have been due to dal?s liberal interpretation of his ?position? as it seems to include all places but the enemy base, but in any case, it was a strong win for us, so I can?t be too cold.
Thanks to SC for the clean game and quick exchange of logs, Cow for riding the bench as back-up and Spies, because I know killing Germans would be a bit more fun than whacking a SG (and playing with dal for a full hour).
