What an honor it was to play one of the communities best and classiest clans as |404| in OGL. We were pretty confident that we were in for a good arse whooping and 404 didn?t disappoint us.
Round 1 we played Torch2, always a /tmp favorite, a map that we consider ourselves pretty decent on. Clan 404 showed us how it can be played though and dominate would not describe the rapeage the that we endured. I have say that it was fun in the way its fun to pick at a scab - both painful and rewarding at the same time. And yes, there is a God...we capped...once.
With unbridled enthusiasm and terror we went into round 2 to play 404's best and favorite map, the dreaded Pipezone. To say that we had looked at this map for more than 30 minutes would be a lie. We DID have a strat however, commonly spoken by our beloved Wrench: Kill the fookers. There was much killing by both sides and 404 only got quad damage 3-4 times I think. Surprisingly, we held 404 to under 350 points with us scoring over 100, not a bad showing for a map that 404 clearly kicks ass on.
