Tough loss in TFL
TFL Match on Thursday May 30 proved a bit frustrating, but also encouraging on the new map in rotation 2mesa3.
Round 1
Corpse Squadron's server of mysterious lag. Both teams had problems with lag spikes that seemed to slow the offense down a bit, it was still a great offensive performance by both teams. Spies ruled and engies drooled. Much fun was had when a flag from either team made it to the yard. Twas just like school yard "Smear The Queer". [CS] pulled away strong at the end, /tmp D made them work for it though. Great job by /tmp/Medium in his first "official" match playing offense.
Round 1 80-40 [CS]
Round 2
Round 2 saw some changes, some good, some bad. Offensively we decided to use 2 spies and it paid off for use creating a lot of confusion and flag movement. Defensively we tried to make some changes that didn?t work at all. Actually we were short a D player for most of the round and as a result did little to stop the flow of caps by [CS]. This was a great round though for /tmp's offense. Right from the get go with a great first pull by King Nada. Offensively we had more caps then ever on this map which was a great encouragement. Next week we hope to fix our problems on Defense and be ready for the next challenge on 2mesa3
