RA over DIVISION
Hm
RA brings out another close win in TFL. Tonight we played DIVISION on tempest_r23432432
and it was a squeaker.Round 1-DIV serverDIVISION had a west coast server I think
and they outpinged us by just a few ms. Anyway
round starts
RA gets a nice pull and cap off our scout rush
DIV's dies I think. Both O's went to work. By work I mean pulling out cap after cap
relay after relay. Both D's were getting really pounded during the entire round. The score was neck and neck during most of the round
until the end where RA's D kept the flag from moving for five minutes so that the O could cap two unanswered caps
bringing RA up 30 round one. DIV 180
RA 210Round 2-RA ChokesvilleWe moved it over to our eastcoast server
where DIV had the advantage in pings still. :( Anyway
we knew that we just needed to keep them from going ahead by 30 to bring out the dubya. Round starts
both scout rushes get thwarted
and the D's actually settle in to hold. RA D held very nicely at the start
only letting DIV rack up one point in the first ten minutes. RA's O in the meantime was slowly getting the flags out. RA goes up 30-1 midway through the round. After this DIV musters up the O power
and starts getting very nice touches and relays on our D
and go up by 16. Meanwhile RA caps again
and DIV gets a bit of a move. DIV goes up by two points. During the last ten minutes
the flag moved to places where I was sure that DIVISION would pull out a cap
but RA's D did very nicely and got about three pulls to return. RA let out another few caps
while DIV let out just one. RA was down by 20 near the end. WE get a pull to bottom ramp
it returns. Finally we get a nice relay going
and get the flag to top spiral in a matter of a few seconds. DIV is adament not to let this one out
and puts four solds on the flag with a lone engy in the fr to fend fo himself. Slowly
slowly the flag comes out. Top spiral

hall to front door. It stays at front door for about two minutes
when finally someone gets a nice throw to yard
and RA caps with about a minute to spare. Round ends with DIV up by 2
