Dukin' it out with the Russkies
It was a HOT night in Portland and a HOT night of OGL action. Our first ladder defense of our newly earned #3 ranking was against The Kollektiv -|{-, a big time old school power house, currently with the most wins in OGL of any on the ladder. We were in for a tough fight.
Round 1 we played Oppose2k1, a great map for us. Defensively we did ourselves proud, only letting 5 caps out (and one of those in only the last minute of the match). Our offense however couldn?t quite drag any flags home. They had quite a few to the ramp room, but Kollektiv's defense was like a brick wall. Score: 0-50
Round 2 on their server, their map: RUN. This is a great map to play, always tons of fun. We were less than sharp on it this time though. It was tough to compete against soldiers and hws with 30 ping, and to put it bluntly, they kicked our ass! Score: 2-7
Very good game -|{- its not everyday that you get to play one of the top clans in the community.
