Agency has to be our new favorite OGL clan to play. We played them Weds for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. And once again managed to defend our #3 ladder position. It was a beauty of a match that went 3 rounds. Try as we might, we were hoping to play on AGT's server but it just wouldnt stay running for us. Anyways, all 3 rounds of action took place at our home pad: Smell My Finger.
Round 1 - RUN
Definately a great DM-ing map, yet involves a ton of teamwork. I'm pretty sure AGT hadnt practiced this one, I'm glad they didnt give me too hard of a time for picking it. Anyways, the flag was hotly fought over, with /tmp managing to control it enough to get 6 caps to AGT's 1.
Round 2 - Darkness
Well, this is widely known to be AGT's bread and butter map, and honestly I talked them into picking it so that they could teach us a thing or two since it was coming up in TFL. As was to be expected, AGT kicked our tushy on it. Regardless, we learned alot about Darkness to better help us for the TFL semi-final match. Final score: 10-4 AGT.
Round 3 - Bases_r2
Honestly, we didnt know how we were going to do on this map versus AGT. AGT jumped out to a quick cap lead and managed to det our computer before we could even blink. Meanwhile, our offense rarely got a look at the flag. With about 10 mins into the match, I finally see King Nada ask if Kersk is actually on O (he was) or was playing defense. Well, next thing we see is Kersk take out their entire defense and det their computer. After that, it seemed like our offense started to roll, at the same time the /tmp defense clamped down hard. /tmp started to consistantly bring the caps in, at about the same time D was getting pounded harder and harder. AGT had sent some extra offense and for the longest time it seemed like they were coming outta the walls. Before I know it, the match is over. Round 3 ends 195-70 /tmp.
Great Game AGT!
