[RoC] over NoXC
I'd first like to start off by saying, God it's good to be back with RoC! I'd also like to give my warmest VGG to NoXC for making it the most fun match I've played in a long time!
Rd1:
The whistle blew, and both teams were off with their respected scout rushes. No sooner did they leave the gates, both teams got a quick touch on the flag. This seemed to be the way it would go for the rest of the night. Except this round, the noxc O was just tearing our D a new one. After they capped about 4 times on us, we switched our D around and were able to hold them to another 2 caps before the round ended. NoXC held a consistant 2 to 3 cap lead on us for about the first 15-20 minutes of the round, then our O started to get together. With the time ticking down, our O managed to get us within 1 cap on the score board.
Round 1 score: 40-50 NoXC.
Rd2:
After a short break, and some roster changes for both sides, we were ready to get rd2 going. We knew it was going to be a hell of a battle to pull a come from behind win, but we were ready to give it a shot.
Once again, the whistle blows and both teams rush out the gates. This time, both scout rushes were shot down. The RoC D kept the strat we ended rd1 with, and it seemed to work pretty well for about the first 10 minutes. Then the NoXC O managed to crack this one too and started to pull some caps. So once again, we switch our D up to hopefully throw off their O and give ours time to cap. We made some very crucial returns which helped our cause out more. We were able to hold them to 1 less cap then their round 1 score.
Our O, on the other hand, was the saviors of the day. After a slow start rd2, they really started to get their groove on. They managed to throw off their D, and not ever really allow them to reset. One hard earned cap after another started comming in towards the last half, and gave us a comfortable lead for come back and the win.
Round 2 score: 70-40 RoC
Final score: 11-9 RoC.
This was a very clean and friendly match. NoXC has got to be one of the most classiest clans around. Several times during the match, their O would mm1 "Sorry" if they hit one of ours on the way over. Not alot of people would do that. RoC wishes you guys all the luck in the world in your future matches. I can't wait till we play again.
