TFCC over DT
A very long night against some very llama tactics. We knew it'd be bad when, from the initial rush, -DT-'s offense dropping four gas and four caltrop grenades at the front doors of their own base to slow down our incoming O ... and then had the gall to complain that we had spammed their lower respawn when it was their own player's gas that was doing it! They didn't seem to understand that these tactics constituted potshotting (i.e. O attacking O) just as surely as if they whipped out a shotgun and blasted away, so after several requests to stop and warnings that we would begin returning fire if they didn't, potshots were 'on' in round one.
We tried discussing it with them about it in IRC between rounds, but -DT- wasn't interested in talk, continuing to claim that we had started it. (See aforementioned claims of gassing their respawn.)
Round two was more of the same, except that TFCC completely swore off all potshotting -- even in retaliation -- and still came out on top. -DT- was forced to switch defenses on the fly several times, but TFCC always found a chink in the armour.
To finish things off in the same style they'd played the whole match, -DT- posted a HWG on their balcony for a five-minute stretch who hosed down the whole bridge area with AC fire. Wheeeee!!!
There are so many good, clean clans in STA Bronze II that are a joy to play. It's unfortunate that, judging by this match, -DT- is one of the few that don't fit that description.
