DTK over ARES

A great time was had by all last night as DTK overcame the ferocious efforts of ARES by a final score of 260 to 160.

Round one saw a quick start by ARES as they got up by three caps. DTK, however, made a great comeback and finally caught up about midway through the round. It was a nice nail biter, as the score remained tight the rest of the way. Each clan held one cap leads at different times over the last ten minutes and I am sure all players involved were sweating at the end due to the tremendous efforts displayed. In the end, DTK won by a cap as the final for round one was 90 to 80 and a much needed ten minute break was taken by most so they could, no doubt, go rest.

The second round started in the opposite fashion as DTK got out to a quick 40 to 10 lead. The two offenses pulled out one more each and just when it looked like ARES was about to show an offensive onslaught, DTK?s defense found its perfect setup and held the ARES cappers to an extended shutout. In the meantime, DTK?s offense WENT OFF! They pulled out five more as the defense was holding ARES off and held a 90 to 20 lead about midway through the round. The two clans pretty much traded caps the rest of the way through and the final for round two was 170 to 80.

Classiness was exhibited by both clans and we here at DTK wish them the best and hope to meet them again in the future for what is sure to be another heart stopping, clean, fun time.
