TFL 2a Semi-final Match
TTK vs /tmp - Security_r
TTK has had our number, winning the last 3 times we've played them. Tonight was different. We played a map that we are very good at. We were well prepared and it paid off tonight.
Both rounds were played on our lovely server of west-ness. /tmp's offense was stellar tonight and the defense was rock solid. Round 1 - King Nada, Kersk, Stiffy, and Ghroth brought home 7 flags, a great job on a very defensive map. Yohan, Keymaster, Pinkfuzz, Greenbudz, & Fog didn't let a single flag get outta their flagroom. We plugged every hole needed and adjusted to the pressure from TTK. Round 2 we finally managed to get WingNut to suit up for a match. He swung a mighty wrench and his southern drawl was pleasing on the ear. Incubus and Medium made it into the round as well. Greenbudz moved over to offense subbing in for The King. TTK played a much better round 2, their O had the D on their toes and dragged 2-3 flags out of the flag room and almost to the front door. With well executed spam, we got the returns though!
This was our best match against a very good TTK team. And I don't say that because we won, Schizo is doing a fine job, best of luck to them in the future.
