TTK over !
Well, this was our first match back in STA Plat action after a long layoff. We had some major roster issues and things going on, so we had to take a break from league play for awhile. We were pretty excited to get back into play after almost a month off.
First round starts with the rush...nothing doing on our side. (!) was able to get a quick touch in though. Unsuccesfull at pulling the flag out, our defense did a great job at holding them. The round goes back and forth for awhile with neither team breaking ground. Finally our offense pushes through and manages to escape with a few caps. Our defense was plugging up the holes like 5p's...uhh...never mind. The defense did great holding on to a shutout in the first.
The 2nd round went to the (!) server. We made some roster changes...to make room for some of our other guys to come in. Usually when I do this, we end up losing and everyone gets mad at me. But this time it paid off. Our offense was rolling from the start. It seemed that we just picked up the momentum from the end of round 1 and kept moving. The defense meanwhile was doing a great job. They let out a few caps as I could hear 5p yelling...'omg...my gun...nooooo'. Atlas was busy trying to scoop up the water from the water channel to give to 5p...I guess he thought he was sick or something. The defense managed to stick it out through a tough (!) offense and we came out with the win.
