GTO over TpT

Woot, looks like I get to do the writeup for this week too :)
Round 1 started out on the GTO Server with some mild confusion as we switched out illegaldog and his 400+ ping for McManus, who is returning to GTO after a bit of a haitus playing for LLD, and who TpT was kind enough to let us use even though we weren't sure if he was moved to our TFL roster yet. Prematch ended and the capping began almost immediatly, at least for TpT who pulled out one, two, and was working on their third while we struggled to bring home our 2nd. The caps flowed pretty quick on both sides, with around 8 minutes left GTO was down by 3, when Span observed that the trailer park engy wasn't managing to get his SG up anymore, and suggested we go scout. After the resulting storm of concing bhoping and respawning cleared, we were ahead by 2 caps, and held the lead to the end of the round.

Midgame break had GTO sweating, wondering if our O could keep up with the capfest TpT seemed to be enjoying, and if our D could slow them down - or better yet hold them off - long enough for us to get a more comfortable lead.
We piled into the TpT server for a little 2fort warmup (I beat evilbum in a scoot rush to the enemy flag room, but only ebcause he threw a conc that launched me ahead of him :)), and then it was back to baked.

Round 2 had TpT and GTO running cap for cap just about the whole first 8 or 10 minutes, and then for some reason both D teams decided to lock it down. GTO had a flag already out of the fr and managed to run it home for the lead, and somehow snuck out another one while TpT got several touches but couldn't quite pull the cap out. It stayed close for the rest of the round, both teams getting several more caps, but TpT never did regain their lead that had us scurred for a while.
