They let me out of my cage briefly to do a writeup.. lol.. anyway. Beforehand we were pissed off because we hate tempest, and tempest_r2 and tempest_r3, and anything tempest related, or anything that even resembles tempest or a tempest byproduct, and so in practice the D was like "ROFL OUR O SUCKS AND DOESNT HIT WATER" and Doc was like "ROFL COM OR I KICK YOU NEWBS OUT", so we all cried in prematch while DrL berated us, and threatened to tell our mommies if we didn't talk nonstop. Mmk, so round 1: DrL told me if I didn't cap on the scout rush, he would stick sharp objects where the sun didn't shine.. so, not wanting to be the victim of a reaming, that's exactly what I did. Meanwhile, they got a touch on the rush too which caused DrL to threaten the entire defense with a stale sugar cookie and something that resembled a football. Not wanting to be on the receiving end of such cruel and unusual punishment, the D said "OMFG NO MORE", and thankfully that was pretty accurate they only got 9 all round. Meanwhile, offense settled into a decent early rhythm and took home a few more caps, before NIL8 D figured out that the HWguy is supposed to play IN the water, at which point we cried because we couldn't cap anymore. With about 5 minutes left in the round the server took a smelly shit and team pings shot up to around 200 or so, but NIL8 was a class act and didn't complain about it at all. Round ended with us up 76-9, and offense crying on the bridge. In between rounds, everyone went into shock because we actually won a round.. Viadec killed a kitten, the offense went to the store to buy more tissue, tweeder and techn9ne played a game of poker. Force put on his SHS tag again, and adroit tried to convince his parents that a B on a report card is a GOOD thing. We subbed out Nifty for aLg and DrL decided to sit, thinking we had 9. So round 2 starts, and with like a minute left in prematch, DrOa has a aneurysm because we only have 8, so I run back to IRc and bitch and whine until somebody comes in the server which is DrL who bitched because he had to play round 2. Anyhow, round starts and offense can't see straight from being blinded by too much crying. We stay scoreless for awhile, and at the same time NIL8 struggles to drag our flag through our defense which put up a few lounge chairs in the ramp room and held it for at least 5-6 minutes. This caused DrL to throw a tantrum at our defense about relays and other such nonsense. Thankfully they only got the 1 cap, and no more. Meanwhile, our offense ran water a few times, which cleaned out the salt from all the crying and we managed a cap somehow. Both teams got some more movement, but that was about it as time expired and we celebrated our first win on tempest by accidentally setting the topic wrong. !set topic (!) (!)mnipotence (!)
