CoS vs ][ on redgiant 4/7/03

Round 1: Our Server

We got off to a quick start touching the flag with regularity. I played probably the worst round of my tfc career, so aqua, forg and zogo completely carried the offense. We kept managing to get the flag to the stairs, mostly due to zogo(hes SO sexy). Our defense was holding very strong, and that was inspiring for us. We managed to pull one cap after another, slowly but steadily. The stalwart ][ held us down a lot and kept several flags until they returned. ][ offense managed to break one free in the last ten minutes. Beyond that our d held strong.

Round 2: Their Serva

][nsurrection got off to the quick start this time with one, then two caps. They seemed to be on a roll. Within about ten minutes we managed to cap one. QS continued his sniping madness, and ][ had to do group concings into the yard to avoid him. Near the end ][ started using one of their engies as extra offense. Against the four man defense we slowly dragged several caps up the stairs, but ][ was determined. ][ offense at 5 men strong managed to pull two more slowly but steadily. The score was tied, but not for long. Our pressure eventually broke through enough to pull an additional cap out. Nam started knifing our offense, so I had to start tranqing theirs :-/. Zogo continued with the ownage pulls and we managed to cap one more at the buzzer as aqua?s eliteness pulled through for us. Mex and ][?s hallway solds (verse and influx?) were incredible, they deserve a lot of credit. We managed to bridge the gap to a loss by one in the end, as our d managed to hold str!
ong when it counted.
