AFM over v| e c c i
We had the pleasure of playing Vecci, which is led by an old friend Mastaflex. We knew that we'd be in for a dog fight against an up and coming clan, and we got just that.
Round1: Our offense was clicking while vecci was playing a man down from time to time, which hurt their offense a bit. Against a shorthanded offense, the AFM defense was pretty much in control. Meanwhile, the AFM offense was clicking fighting tooth and nail for three caps, while the vecci defense had a flag return on one that was nearly to the front door.
Round2: We headed over to Vecci's server. It looked like Vecci made a few adjustments, and played the round with a full roster. They're offense was hitting hard and getting lots of touches, and pulled out an early cap. Meanwhile, our offense just didn't have the same magic round1 and couldn't pull a flag out of the ramp room, or as I like to say, "Couldn't cap in a hat store." Our defense held strong, and we ended up only giving up one cap, even though we struggled offensively round two.
