TFCC over fXp

Its always fun to play our buddies over at fXp, and this match was no exception. With a recent TFCC loss on Trench (bleh) this left the all-time series tied up at 1.

Round 1 was in the Faculty Lounge, but the collegians werent taking any breaks. Bullets were flying and scouts were dying. TFCC did an excellent job of holding the 2 outside points while trading caps of 3 with fXp. When the dust settled TFCC came out on top.

RD1: TFCC up 138-96

Apparently the leather executive couches in the lounge were nice, fXp asked to go back there for some round 2 action. After the short 5 min TFL break and a restart, all were ready to go. TFCC jumped on the lead this round and held it. The icing on the cake came towards the middle of the round when I climbing up the ladder to point 5 for the all-cap, only to see fXp get point 3! Everyone on teamspeak went half-deaf as i yelled out numerous times GET POINT 3, GET POINT 3! Lucky for us, (and our ears) val or M got it and TFCC had its dessert.

I have to say that it was very nice to beat fXp after the blowout on trench a month ago. Match was clean (i guess, can you play cz2 dirty? :-) and was tons of fun. Look forward to playing the boys at fXp again and seeing if they can even up the score. (and seeing what the naughty passwords will be!)

Always fun to play our arch-rivals in fXp. To learn the origin of the phrase 'mayday!' -- and, incidentally, read a different-perspective writeup of this match -- check out this URL link to our website: http://tfcc.proceed.net/?showentry=257
