TTK over (X)
Well, after hearing about how good (X) was, we knew we were going to have our hands full. Both rounds had to be played on our server because (X)'s went down and they were unable to bring it back up.
First round started out with quick caps. (X) took the first one right off the bat and kept the pressure up good. They managed to take a small lead within the first several minutes of the match. Fortunately for us, our defense managed to hold their offense for a bit, while our offense kept pounding away. It seemed like we were trading caps for awhile as I wasn't even really looking at our score. We were getting hammered on defense and it seemed like we were down for awhile. The last few minutes came and we were able to pull out a couple of late caps to take a small lead into the break.
Round 2 came with only a minor change. We didn't want to change our offense who seemed to have their groove down by the end of round 1 and we made a small change to the defense. (X) came out again with full force. They managed to take the early cap...and then the next cap. We were slowly capping behind them, but it seemed like they had momentum. Our defense finally tightened up and we got a lot of returns. Some were close calls too...so we were thankful for the timing. Our offense was able to slowly break down their defense and cap. It was a great match.
