CD over fXp
Wow, what a match. First of all, fXp played a very clean game. Hard to do on that map. We played both rounds on our Seattle server, because the fXp server was suffering severe spikes.
The first round started slow. After a couple returns by both defenses, the CD O was able to cap first. fXp followed close behind with a cap of their own to tie it at 1 apiece. Then our offense kicked into gear and realed off 6 unanswered caps. We dropped our lower D soldier late in the round and that enabled fXp to grab a couple quick caps and some confidence for the second round.
R1 CD - 8-3
After a brief break, we piled back into our server. We held about a 30-50 ping advantage throughout the match. This round was way different than the first. fXp captured the first flag and we grabbed the second soon after. Then all hell broke loose. The fXp offense pulled ahead and eventually hada 4 cap lead midway through the round. Things started to get tense as they were within one cap of tying the match. Our D was able to knuckle down long enough to let our O get back in it. We had a 2 cap lead with a few minutes to go and fXp was able to tie the round late.
