I'm saddened to hear the news that this was |RES|'s last TFL match for awhile, or forever. They've been in the league off and on for a long time. Always offering a good game with easy going attitudes as well as good competition. However, due to their member's strenous work and school schedules, and other personal contrivances, they've no more time to compete on Thursday's as they fear they will be short. A most understandable and honorable clan who knows what is best for them. Tonight, they fielded 9 for one last Thursday.
Round 1 and Round 2 were both played on [GoW]'s server. Aside from BD and Sureshot, all the pings were sub 90. It was a most joyous occasion on this new league map. The map is named Crazy_Monkey_l. It was developed by [TDA]Virus and later redesigned to suit league play, hence the _l (stands for league, if you didn't know). Although many have disliked the map, I personally found it quite enjoyable along with a well oiled defense that performed as they were intended. There's an old saying in TFC: Strategy defines the limits of fun, and I would have to agree with it. Everything we practiced locked into place, the comms were good, and offense was chatty.
The lineups tonight consisted of none other than PYRO PP, fate, Wromy, Sureshot, Gounz, Wolvy, atm, Q-WoOdY, and myself.
It was good fun |RES|, and I hope that we will meet again some day.
