Damn...an awesome match tonight vs a very tough Rabid team! I must say /tmp has been struggling as of late with 4 losses in a row...and we almost tonight by a great comeback rd2 from ]R[.
Round 1 - Rabid's server
Battle of the defenses this round. I thought it was gonna end 0-0. Both teams couldnt move the flag very far until about 1/2 way thru the round when /tmp finally pulled one in. With a cap in their pocket...tmp offense rolled bringing in a couple more before the round ended. Good Job Offense of FUBAR, Schtoofa, ThePanther, and Greenbudz. Defense had many a flag return from the top of the stairs...props to D for the shutout (especially Dr and Lizzy). Yohan, deadprez and Stiffy rounded out the steller D crew.
Round 2 - /tmp's server
On defense we subbed Key in for Dr and Fog in for Lizzy. Offense brought in Osiris for Panther. Defense sucked and Rabid ROCKED us this round. Rabid tied up the match with like 2 mins remaining! Luckily, offense was pulling a flag as well. Rabid got a relay as well and this looked to be a close finish. With a second remaining.../tmp/Greenbudz with some nifty concing pulled the WINNING cap home! All the while Rapid had /tmp's flag almost to the yard!]
Rapid takes this round 50-30...but /tmp manages the victory (by a hair) 60-50.

Great game, rabid! holy cow... i was getting all sweaty when you were just capping up a storm rd2. 3 caps rd1 was hardly a "cushion" so the pressure was on. I thought for sure budz was going to get TK'd bringing that last flag in! Stiffy must have been looking the other way or his kitten was screwing around with his comp. cords because he didn't det the man...
