The stage was set. Rematch of the century. An epic battle to decide who was better at pushing computer keyboard buttons in team fortress classic a Half Life Mod. These two teams had met once before on the map Dragonfire in a nail biter. To prepare for such a strenuous match we decided to forgoe practice and op instead for individual meditation and Zen mastership. Then 3 minutes before the match started we decided we should come up with a defensive strategy. Positions were given just in time for the match to begin.

Round 1 was hectic as both clans got a feel for each other. I got to play defensive demo man which is the funnest position ever. Our d struggled to not get killed by my friendly fire, as we tried to work out our positions in the heat of battle. Eventually we settled down after letting out 6 flags. Round ended 6-3 nLv up.

Round 2 I was forced to play offense again because the TFC gods hate me. With me not there to be the weakest link on our defense we tightened up only letting out 4 caps. Our offense played in a frenzy needing a 4 cap lead this round to win the match. With 5ish minutes left we needed 3 more caps and all seamed grim. Suddenly a hole opened up and we got a cap, then quickly another. Keeping their D reeling we soon had another. Then their O brought one out as well, leaving us needing 1 more in maybe a minute. As they pulled our flag across the bridge through the spamy fire of our D, through the smoke, came gallant sir AppleDonkey carrying the last flag. Round ended 4-8 BaY up.
