Sigh... I wish I could report scores, that way I could do the writeups :(
Rd1 started with K}{R down a guy. nLv didn't feel the need to switch to 8v8 considering we wanted to practice for STA the next day using our full lineup... sorry K}{R :) Despite being down a guy, K}{R mustered a full, strong defense that put their flag room on lock down. Apparently the nLv D was doing the same thing. I think within the first few minutes, the nLv O pulled a quick scout rush type cap, but after that it was total death!
K}{R soon dropped to 4 D, 4 O (they had 8 for the remainder of the round :( ), and with the added guy on O, they pulled a quicky on the nLv and evened up the score. Things were neck and neck for much of the remainder until the last few minutes when nLv pulled a miracle squeeze and grabbed a round-winning cap.
Rd1 Ends 20-10
Rd2 started similarly, but this time K}{R had a full 9. The nLv scout rush did some damage and we pulled out the first flag pretty quickly. Shortly after our first cap, K}{R pulled a nice one right back at us, tieing the rd2 score, and striking fear into the hearts of the nLv O that we might lose our lead. Luckily, the nLv D held fast, and with their brand new kamikaze engineer (me), the O kept the caps coming with good performances on all sides.
Rd2 ends 50-10
Was a very fun game up until the end of rd2 where some stuff was said by 1 or 2 of the K}{R guys... I didn't actually read it cuz I was focusing on PLAYING, but apparently it wasn't very nice :(
For the most part though, K}{R played a clean and very tough match, despite being down a guy in rd1.

ooohh, let me also add...
K}{R had signed up on CAL to start playing NEXT season. But CAL, being the all-knowing, all-seeing entity that it is, accidentally scheduled them to play us this week. So K}{R didn't really find out that they were even playing until about a half hour before the match started.
That said, I'm even more impressed by how well they shut us down for the most part in rd1.
