-NULL- over dong
-NULL- vs [dong] CAL Action Map : Shutdown_l
Round 1
Hosted by -NULL-
Seemed like the dong O had our Defensive setup scouted out rushing with engineers for the first 5 minutes of the round. We had 2 of our main defensive players playing O tonight (Dark-Lord & Glacier) and they seemed to mesh very well with the rest of the O. The dong O really changed it up quite a bit, grouped a lot to try to break through our layered setup but had little success for the majority of the round. The O just went on a rampage grabbing 6 caps on a very D sided map. We started out getting compliments on our server which turned into tears from LSD who somehow felt our Game Daemons server and his 45 ping were somehow unacceptable. For whatever reason shortly after his mm1 comments he was dropped/replaced by another dong player. LongJohnson had a lot of scout fun accidentally running into the dong spies multiple times. Round 1 ends with -NULL- up 60-20
Round 2
Hosted by [dong]
This round was very interesting to watch unfold as a defensive player. I've never seen an offense try so vigorously to group up and run set plays before. The dong O ran a 3 spy 1 medic setup. The medics main job was to rush the demo and clear the pipes while the 3 spys ran in behind him and split gordon bombay style with a triangle/flying V type attack. It was pretty funny but was very successful giving our D a lot of trouble. Our D made the mistake of not checking the flag room which allowed for a couple of relays (3 spies it's bound to happen). The offense continued doing their thing proving last weeks shutout was a fluke. Another 6 caps. They definitely made me happy in teh pants tonight :P Round 2 ends with -NULL- up 60-40.
Vgg to dong who definitely taught us that our setup is fallible. We will definitely adjust and make some improvements to counter such a coordinated attack if ever faced with it again. It was definitely a pleasure and we wish you the best of luck in your future matches.

Puke and I must have been playing out of our asses rd2. He played spy about 12 minutes of the time and I ran spy about 18 minutes or so rd2. That d set up was a pain in the ass and very unexpected. It took us quite a while to adjust.
All that said, it was a good game and we definitely got beat.
