Round 1 started off with us as red. We were prepared to give up a lot of caps and hoped to hold it close till round 2 when we thought we?d get an offensive explosion. There was a bit of hullabaloo in prematch as our offense was unsure of our strat that they don?t take the armor. Eventually we convinced them although quite a few times I saw them sitting in respawn during the match waiting for the armor to reappear. Walls fell early, meds rushed in and low and behold we got flag movement first. We actually traded caps back and forth for a bit and kept it close. At the end of the first round they started to pull away though and led 22-14 after round 1.

We went to the locker room between rounds and I iced my wrist a bit. I got pulled down into a wall in indoor soccer on Sunday (which we won 7th place) and it was a bit sore. The morale was high and the coach gave us a rousing pep talk as we prepared to go to the more offensive blue side.

After a few restarts the bells sounded as walls fell early again. This round was painful. We had about 8 flags in the yard that all returned. They held the flag out there better than in their own flag room! So much spam in the yard. Lots of movement on both sides this round made it pretty fun though. My wrist hurts real bad though and I am getting a headache. Also overheating causes runtime errors.
