Writeup:
ip over BoA
R1 - we pile into BoA's server. It sucked. We went to another BoA server. It wasn't bad. We played there. One of their guys was still lagging. We didn't change servers for 1 person. Anyways round starts off pretty quickly. We got a lot of movement. Kept control of both cps and wrecked sheeyit. MVP goes to me for having 86 kills as a soldier. That follows my TFL 5v5 perfomance nicely i think. Anyways Mexi and Battery sup raped while running flags. Coco pwned the entire BoA team as an hw. And everybody else performed admirably considering we didn't have a strat. Ro didn't play because hes gay and whipping and his wife is making him redo his floors. Neither did omega but lets face it. Hes gay to. I'm not sure what Omega had to do but i'm sure it was important and involved lube and gigantic dildos in the image of mule penis. I'm POSITIVE that was it. Megatron performed quite well as an HW since sug and arc pussied out and didn't to play. We win r1 handily 13-3. It was a whole lot of fun to restart that round for absolutely no reason as well. It was awesome.
R2 - our strat consisted of this. Mexi asked Pandeli if it was ok to hide with flags. He said he didn't see how you could do it, but gl. Hiding with flags = legal. Fortunately we didnt' feel like doing it the whole round as we didn't want a 0-0 match. And since the rest of us were getting bored with dming mediocre soldiers for no reason we didn't hide that long. Anyways Mexi went afk to talk to his parents. Because sometimes you just gotta talk to your folks. They get some movement and caps r2. We're not really trying. They get up like 3-1. We realize its embarassing to lose a round to a clan you just beat by 10 caps. So we started trying again. 3 caps later we're up 4-3. Then we start playing hide the flag again for a minute or 2. But BoA caught on and found the flag. Then they tried to cap again but we were to 1337 and our 1337 guildless soldiers beat up on their VR soldiers. We still suck unfortunately though. R2 ends 4-3 with us in the lead.
Final score - 170-60. 8th seed beats 1st seed. And I also saw that DTK beat CAMF. 7th seed over 2nd seed. GO DTK WUT!
GG BoA. That wasn't a very fun restart nor a very fun prematch. But dogpiling you r1 made it worth it. Best of luck in your future matches.

Well, the irc postings I saw seemed a LOT less reasoned that that milos.
The thing is, that it does not really matter. If I say the average ability of people in X set is really shitty on an algebra test, and one member of X says "oh yeah! I will score higher than you!" It may be true. That does not mean that X does not suck. It means that X member A does not really suck. Now, if I consistently score higher than 95% of X, I think that very well gives me the right to say, that X sucks at algebra. X may excell in many other important aspects, they just happen to suck at algebra.
similarly, if mexi does better than 95% of TG (which I would not have any trouble believing based on my observations in pubs and matches etc) he is perfectly well justifying the generality that TG suck (in his world).
PS What is the poin of a guild that is basically not class based? Why not just call it a little side team?

as for beating a team on the lowest level of competition. so what. a win is a win. we lost 8 straight matches at one point due to nobody showing up and us recruiting people that said they'd show up but never did. we played 8 straight matches and lost them all due to people not doing what they said they'd do.
