Writeup:
AGT over Rabid
Round 1 went off without a hitch as the AGT O was able to capitalize on the scout rush for a quick 15 points. After that it was a grind it out match with the O getting some touches but no significant movement. The Rabid O got little to no penetration at all, so little in fact that [Rabid}Kevin had to make it a point to share with us his feelings about our domination and how he just really felt uncomfortable being the ones to end our losing streak upon. I thought it was a real breakthru for him, as apparently all the therapy he must be taking to alleviate the constant stress of worry about what EVERY MOTHER FUCKER IN TFC IS DOING AT ALL TIMES must be quite the burden. Here's a big gg to everyone at Rabid except Kev who can suck my nut(he sucked for most of the round, why should now be any different)
Round 2 they just couldn't get over how bad the server was for them.
**SIDE NOTE**
The last 5 clans to play in our server just fell all over themselves telling us how great our server is and asking whos it thru and how much it costs what with the average pings being in the 50's for all teams.
So here comes Kev and the jackoff crew and all they can talk about is how they have choke, and lag, and pl, and their mom's are making them go to bed, and they lost their best jerkoff porn, and everything else they could conceivably think of to not play on our Texas server after us southern boys had to play on their East Coast craptastic server that only Xcit and Corsair liked.
So 17 mins after round 1 ends and 7 secs into round 2 Kev explains they will not play here and goes to get BF, long story short, BF comes and sees everything is absolutely fine, random Rabid guys were leaving and returning to the servr and we had 91 points when Kevin finally rallied the troops to leave. We had 168 when BF officially called r2 over.
So to summarize, Rabid got beat in r1, raped in r2. Rabid requested to move down to Gold again after claiming for MONTHS they could hang with the lower end of Plat(that's us baby!) 2 Rabid guys came asking to join AGT after the match ended, and kevin gets these choice sentiments from all of us at AGT.
[AGT-DMW] but they expect to chase and not get retaliated against.

Cala, it's funny that the server status keeps getting worse for you guys even the day after the match. During pm, a couple guys said they were receiving 20 pl, at the end 40 pl (none of our guys were seeing this), then we get 50 pl all of the sudden when bf comes in (absolutely zero pl for everyone now). Now the day after the match, all the sudden people are lagging out from it.
Sorry, the only people who left that round were the rabid players not feeling up to another round or kevin trying to find bf's shoulder to cry on.

our latency was jumping to 150 prematch and not a single person could hear a clear voicomm (totally broken up). not trying to swing an exscuse it just sucked and a restart to let things smooth out would of been nice , but it's all good.
i am happy to be the ones to finally let agt get a win in platinum. have a few margaritas over it

it wasn't the ping, it was that not a single voicecomm could be communicated without it being totally broken up. all we asked is a possible server where this wasnt occuring or even a restart to let things smooth out. even good servers have bad moments. 3 of our defense also lagged out round 2, hence why you guys capped like 10 times in 5 minutes. i apologize for my bullshit i just wanted a nice smooth game to play against you all

I think your problem is that by a "nice smooth game" you mena one where we don't pound your ass kev, and that just isn't gonna happen. We're happy to get a win in Plat too, it had been over a month, but see that's the difference between a clan like us and guys like you. We've got over 100 wins in plat and we don't go running when we lose a couple, we buckle up and play harder. Shit, if we could play Rabid every week we'd have 100 more in no time.
I backed you up in your re-alignment post because almost the entire Gold division should be sitting in plat minus 2-3 teams, but its just your mentality that its "too hard" and teans "don't play fair" where teams go running back down to teams they think they can beat that stop that from happening.
Calab, just like the last time you weren't there and your team lost and you were misinformed about what happened so you came crying to us about it, same shit different day dude. Maybe you should just refrain from saying a fucking word until you can actually drag your ass to a match.

what i ment shady was one where our team wasnt having probs. i apologize for my mm1 remarks round 1 they were uncalled for. you most definately proved to have found the most effective strat that map could eever have. that being 2 teleporters from top spawn to bottom. that shit is damn deadly and will shut any team out to a 1-2 cap maximum per round. as for round 2 just a restart till the server smoothed out would of been nice. not a single person could communicate on voicecomms , and 3 of us dropped/timed out. how did that happen? fuck if i know, but it sucked. you scored like 10 caps in less than 10mins because it was 3 defense that dropped, which sucked balls. so go ahead and think u raped us , when in fact round 1 was the only score that shows true reflection on what your skill is against us.

I didn't play the match, I haven't been on irc in a few days for that matter, had to send the comp off to get a warranty replacement. Only times I can view kse and cats is from work. I have nothing to say about this match.
Only thing that I was wondering was how are you guys (AGT) still in plat if you are -10 in the division. I always thought that being +/- 10 warrants a division change. Don't take this as a flame I like and respect all the guys in AGT (especially flux <3), I'm just simply curious. I asked before but the only responce I got was that rabid was gay.

LOL at this argument. Have you even faced a real server problem? Every play on bM's African server? Probably not cause you haven't play top level TFC much. Ever play against 404? Their infamous mysterious server crashes when your leading. How about ass clans like $s who won't even give you one restart because you beat there ass round 1? Crying about servers doesn't work ever, sorry.
Restarting is a waste of another 5 mins. Some people have other things to do besides sit around and waste time because YOUR clan is having problems. The home server as a courtesy may offer you a restart, but they are in no way obligated to. I know for a fact that i've had to bail out midround because of restarts, luckily my team is usually deminating or getting deminated

Gr8shot - generally STA doesn't move clans down unless they ask for it. And keep in mind our -10 is 27/37, its not like we went -10 right out of the gate, IMO someone who can beat Plat clans 27 times shouldn't be in Gold, but obviously my opinion of sacking it up and playing is a far cry from what so many whiny bitches nowadays do. We're not dropping anytime soon because other than faggots like animated at c), and the occasional Gold teams that think the shit they pull getting to Plat is going to be accepted IN Plat, we generally prefer playing the higher-level teams, win or lose.
Slic, had we not had to wade thru 15 mins of kevin's crying round 1, and the ensuing IRC crying I had to endure(see below), I would have given you guys the benefit of the doubt on a restart, as we generally prefer to act in good faith. (For the record, someone other than Kev said as Prematch DROPPED "not live", Kevin himself said at the 7 sec mark of r2 that they couldn't play here at which time I responded tht this round was live and if he wanted to dispute he could go grab BF, which he did as BF found no problems)

yea gr8 it's not.. only that the match has to start within the designated amount of time given. AKA can get restarts until 9:45 EST (15mins after), then there is 10min maximum break. so ya have 10mins after round 1 ends to get as many restarts as u like
