5150 over nLv
WOW GREAT MATCH.
round 1 started off with quick caps and moves. round ended with them sqeeking out a last cap cause our engi dropped.
round 2 different lineup and we held great and got 2 caps on 5 D.
round 3 ramsus joined us and he got the winning cap =D

very fun game :)
Rd1 nLv gets the idea to run 5 D, 3 O, thinking our O had the 2mesa3 experience to get the job done even with 3. Turns out we were right and we had the caps coming in, and the flag on the move on a regular basis. An initial nLv scout rush, courtesy of metallix brings home a quick one. Round ended 50-30 in nLv's favor.
Rd2 nLv made a tactical error in thinking 5150 wouldn't tighten things up on D. Sure enough, it looks like they switched a guy or two into the D lineup and held things pretty well. nLv's scout rush brings a flag to the floor, but it never leaves the FR. nLv's 3 O got a few moves here and there, but couldn't bring anything home. Some OvO and chasing in the beginning of rd2 gets our tempers flared, and so the nLv O lets loose. 5150 apologizes, and the fun resumes :P The closest we got rd2 was the would-be game-winning flag that we moved to the water, where it returned because we all thought someone else was getting it o_O (and cuz i'm stupid and can't listen to voice comms). Also got a move or two to the RR but returned as well. nLv's 3 O can't get the job done rd2, and the D holds it long enough to get into OT.
Rd3 we decide to stick with our 3 O, thinking it better to be safe on D and prevent the initial rush, hopefully long enough to let our O get a foothold. Offense brings down the first flag, only to have it return. The nLv holds w/o any touches or tosses for some time. nLv O brings another flag or two to the floor, which return. Finally, 5150 brings one down and not-so-gradually works it all the way back home for the win.
Tough to lose in overtime, but a great game nonetheless. No hard feelings about the OvO, as long as you know why we were doing it back :)
