R1 - we're not sure if we're going to have enough. Since i'm retired i really shouldn't play. But noboyd showed so here I am doing writeups and still playing. Anyways we slap together a quick strat and I play O since we recruited a bunch of D guys. Our 4th D drops in pm so we have to get coco to play. Coco is a stellar engy. So what happens. They get some touches, we get some touches. We get flag to fd... their O starts firing at us. NOW this is the kind of match I enjoy. They continued to O v O and I started dropping a few mirvs at their spawn. They said nice spawn spam.. I said your O is shooting me :). So the round continues. They decided to slow down on the O v O for a bit and we did to. They get some more caps we get some more caps. On a related note our new guys performed admireably with the lone exception of snipeman whos computer hates him. Hope you get your crap fixed homie. Round ends 60-50 KoB up by 1 cap. Now onto the round that matters....
R2 - Will ip give up like they normally do or will ip show up and play r2? We weren't sure at first but KoB got some touches when they weren't going out of their way to chase our O. But thats ok we shot back. Then I noticed they had a few gas nades near our respawn, so I decided to put some into their respawn. I think I only managed to get 1 in there but I made several runs at it. I'm a failure at that I suppose. So what next... Gibmantl goes O engy after playing D engy.. Gibmantl decides he wants to attack us and keep going. Thats ok. So we get up 20-0 and we're winning! Lo and behold they get a cap.. we're up 20-10 and its tied. Their O starts acting up again, but in their defense it was probably Ryans fault. Hes, literally, only played about 3 actual TFC clan matches ever. EVER. and really doesn't understand the etiquette involved. But its all good. They chase we chased. It looks like we're going into OT. Wait.. whats this? Our O spy manages to break through their yard D and chasing O and gets to the fr and gets a toss. Ooooooo... whats gonna happen next? I'm tingling with the suspense! I may just mess my pants! But we get some more movement... ooooooo... then we get the flag to their FD. By this time all their O is standing near the flag tossing nades at it and trying to kill our O. Its all good. O engy to the rescue! Toss a few emps kill a few KoB members. TADA! flag is in yard! on a side note i'd like to take this opportunity to thank whichever of our O members that decided to toss the falg back INTO their fd. But anyways their flag is in the yard. Their O is defending it and so is their D. But we get a cap. Looks like we're up 30-10 with about 2 minutes left. So lets have some fun. KoB wants to defend their flag in yard with their whole team. We'll defend our base with our whole team. We just happened to be better at it than they were. So with about 20 seconds left I deem its time to rub it in and say gg to which gibmantl says nope. gg turtling.. And one of them also told us to DISBAND at the end and called us classy. Waitaminute.. isn't this the same guy who spent most of the round playing swing engy and chasing us in yard? Why yes it was. And.. wasn't this the same team that not 2 minutes before had their entire team playing D in their yard? Wait I DO BELIVE it was.
I wish to say GG KoB. It was a very enjoyable match and I had a good time. I believe everybody on our team had a good time. Of course we won though so that helps a little bit. Hope to see you in your future matches and wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors. Both TFC related and in real life. Wow, I got raped in that write-up... Funny, since I started doing O runs only in round2 and not too many either. But lets state the facts: They turtled from the start. I complained about seeing a demo systematically throw 2 mirvs on our respawn at every run, then spy pills for most of the round. In my first O run, I go outside and see an O soldier from ip shooting our O. So i guess it started from from there for me. I found ip to be very llamaish and well, if they feel good about winning like that, I can't take that from them.
I'll even say that I encouraged my team to distribute a bit of payback for round1, but hey. It wasnt as fun as it should have been for a TFC match, but hey, that's life. I was angry last night, but I calmed down and now i'll just say that it wasnt a fun match. Round1 was close and if you have to go llama to win, then move to gold or plat or something...

i stated flat out i threw mirvs at your spawn. your O was shooting at us. So i returned the favor. Everything we did was admitted to in that writeup.
The big problem, so far as I can tell, is you guys admitting you did the same stuff. But you didnt' and won't thus I called you a hypocrite albeit not in those terms but I can be subtle when I want to.
Whether you did 1 O run or 1000. The fact stands that you'd come into the yard firing at our O, tossing nades, chasing as O engy. And thats fine but dont' complain when we fire back.
The other fact was this. When we got the movement on your flag in the first round you had an O med and an O scout shooting at me near the fd. If you'll read the logs you'll notice me saying in mm1 "keep it up scout :)". Your O kept it up thus we returned fire.
We just happen to be better at that kind of stuff than you. When you had your O chasing us and killing us r1 and most of r2 we didn't state in mm1 "gg turtling" nor did we cry at all. I simply said "keep it up :)". And then when we return the fire and return hte 8 D to you r2 that you did to us when we had your flag in yard you automatically start crying and bitching about how WE played lame.
You did as much of it as we did. Your O would start firing and tossing nades at our O everytime we got flag movement. When we got the flag in the yard your O would stop moving forward completely and defend your flag. We didn't bitch or use mm1 to state this. We just returned the favor.
So be mad. Call us turtlers, call us lame. Say our tactics were gay. We used 4 D in our base the whole of both rounds. Just like ya'll did. We used 4 O just like ya'll did. Your O fired at us when we got flag movement and we RETURNED the fire. You guys tried to play 8 man D when we got flag movement. Our O fired at your O. Just like YOUR O did to us.
We got the last flag in the yard. You had 8 D on it. Plain and simple. The last 2 flags we capped you had at least 6 D on the flag including your O that was standing on it. We returned the favor and all of a sudden we're the bad guys.
Check the logs. See whos O killed whos O more. Its all there in hltv and logs. You got what you gave. The match was fun, but it wasn't fun for you because you found someone that wasn't gonna take your shit and gave it back to you. That someone just happened to be better at dishing it out than you were.
Next time tell your O not to stand in your front door and fire at me in the first 3 or 4 minutes of the first round when we're getting flag movement. You do that shit you get shot back. When you went O did you attack our O in the yard? Yes you did. You attacked me everytime I got near you and that was before I started firing back gib. I've got demos. It can be proven. Your entire O, most of r1, and all of r2 was chasing and potshotted our O. Your O did it from the onset of us getting touches on your flag.
You lost at your own game. Get over it.
As for pointing the finger. I openly admitted in the writeup what we did. And how I made specific runs to do things just to piss you guys off. However you guys come here, and in game, pretend you didn't do anything that could be considered remotely llamaish or un-classy.
Just because you have an old clan doesn't mean your shit doesn't stink. Next time have your O try to be a little calmer with the potshotting and try not to have every member of your team defending your flag and you won't get "turtled" on.

I was D all of round1, so I didn't really see what happened outside. If you have our flag, I would never mind having our O killing you. I was an admin in PFL that had lots of rules against chasing and turtling, however, when the enemy had the flag, he was fair game for anyone. That's how I play the game. I don't go throwing spam at spawns and keeping a soldier on O outside of spawn to kill anything that comes out.
Now, back to my view of things. 1) I didn't venture outside round1, so I have no clue what happend. 2) I went on O runs round2 to build a teleporter for O and do a couple of suicide runs. When I went outside, I saw a soldier shooting our O in the yard. I shot him. Later in the match, you had so many players in the yard, it was that bad. And remember, when you have the flag, you're fair game.
Everything that was bad was round2 from what I saw. I saw a demo mirv spawn. I saw 4+ spy pills on spawn constantly. So did I reply also? Yes. We started it you say? Maybe, I wasn't there to see it. But no, it wasn't a "GG" round2. You guys said "GG", i replied "nope". It was just honest truth.
I'm sorry it went like it did and I'll say that I sorely missed STA or PFL rules about 8v8 defense, spamming and chasing. If our O is equally guilty, then boo to them too.
But anyways, it could have been better, win or lose. We played ES and we got raped on 2fort, yet it was extremely enjoyable for me. I play this game for fun, not for lameness.
If you're better at it then we are, that more to you, I say!

all i know is that rd 1 i was shot at first a couple of runs before i started back i dunno who started it, and rd2 i was D solly on ramp and i do remember a long period of time were id se NO offense at all because i would hear the flag movement and yelling of "its bottum ramp" "they got there whole team on it" blah blah blah then yes last 5 minutes of the match or so probably less i did see mexi on D as soldier maybe even more O on D in the yard or out of my view, the solid point of the matter is you lost and your crying, down right....your crying....down right your CRYING you probably thought ud kill us cuz u had some new decent players with the gay lil KoBr thing on but the FACT is you got BEAT by a BETTER team.....ty for your time

Yes I agree that when you haev the flag you are fair game. However when your O stops and comes back into the fd and stops playing O to shoot at the person with the flag then I think it may be over the line a little. And that was during the first movement we got from r1. If our O has the flag its ok for your O to shoot at us. There is a limit though.

Yes that was Ryan. And I did mention in the writeup that chances were he caused the massive O v O r2. He hasn't played that many matches and he doesnt' know the etiquette of tfc matches. I wasn't making that up.

What exactly is the difference between holding almost all of your offense to help your 4 D defend your flag in the yard.. than the other team saying fuck it and playing 7 man D for less than 2 minutes at the end of r2?
All I wanted was this. And Gib gave it to me and mezo did as well without even meaning to. Did we play 100% completely classy and straight up? No. And neither did KoB. All I wanted was KoB to admit to it and now I've gotten it. So GG to you and I look forward to the next one. I've had worse matches than this one and i've partaken in matches where the feelings were harsher than this one. As for whos classy or not, remember the mm1 at the end of r2. We took what you guys gave us and didn't feel the need to mm1 about it. But you guys couldn't do that. So just remember that those arguements go both ways.
As to my "dwindling" clan. Well every clan has its moments. One could say the same about any clan in TFC but not everybody is as petty as you are mezo.
