Rabid over -459
Well what a freaking match up this way. We knew first hand that 9vs9 on stowaway2 was a joke, but -459 did not care to listen. So this is how the match ended up.
Round 1 they pulled cap on initial rush followed by a relay. GG to rabid D who can't get setup in time. This was clearly a simple mistake and needed to be corrected. After this the D was locked down and nothing went out. Suddenly rabid answers back with 2 caps of their own, tieing the game. For the next 25mins, nobody capped a damn flag.
Round 2 we continue to whore this map 9vs9. Nothing but pure spam and retardness. Rabid at one point was only running 3 defense, with 6 offense.. while -459 ran 7 defense, and 2 offense! I mean WTF are you thinking? You didn't have the lead, there was no reason to turtle. I thought -459 was some classy team but apparently not. I'm sure you will fish thru HLTV demos looking for some disputeable cause. Round ends 0-0 no caps
Round 3 (First overtime), Rabid ran 4 defense at most the entire round. We sent 5o and almost got 2 caps, but not quite. Once again, -459 ends up playing 6-7 defense and an engy doing o runs sometimes. At one point rabid had 7 offense for a very short time. THIS IS SO FUCKING RETARDED I kept screming to myself. Round ends 0-0 no caps
Round 4 (Second overtime), so we play it 5vs5 this time, and guess what.. this map still fucking blows! 5vs5 is almost as hard to cap as 9vs9. With 4 mins left in the game, I (engineer) started doing swing O runs and ended up killing the SG , and 2 defenders, allowing our offense to pull a cap out. We dropped it in the water like a retard and got it in the end. Rabid wins 10-0.
Most rediculous match I have ever played and wise up -459 next time I suggest playing 8vs8. We prefer to have FUN games rather than some thought-to-be Win at all Costs game, but just ended up giving you 3 hours of wasted time on a loss.

well... after all the shit that happend last time, I expected a lot worse from you kev. But you turned out to be pretty cool throughout, despite the bitching.
we played in a league-appropriate manner. We used strats that kept us in the game and kept us in the running. Even in 5v5 we held you off. A lucky emp in the last 4 min of 5v5 OT opened up the D for you to get your winning cap. Otherwise, that round would've ended 0-0 also, resulting in a tie match. We made you earn it. I think you are just disappointed that you had to work so hard to get it.
anyhow, despite all rabid's mm1 bitching throughout the match, I thought that it was a good game.

It's not about doing the most extreme things to prevent a cap to make it 0-0 for 80 mins. I didn't like doing it either, but we did mostly run only 3 defense. lol. We had an incredible game with njk the week before playing 8vs8, with 4d max and 4o, and it was tons of fun. Just disappointed you weren't interested in an intense great game instead wanting an 80 min spamfest of no caps. I had a headache after staring at the screen that long lol

I'm not on either of your teams, so I think I'm a pretty unbiased person here . . . you won, they haven't disputed, and yet you're complaining. When I played TFC, my favorite matches were ones that either went into overtime or were won by 1-2 caps, because they were hard-fought and earned. I enjoyed the game for playing it, not for crazy cap-fests, but then I played D only so crazy cap-fests meant I wasn't doing my job right . . .

Quintus. I could not agree with you more. THe best games are the ones hard fought, but hard fought is not what they did. They werent attempting to go for our flag lol usually 2 offense, sometimes 3 at most. They purposely made it 0-0 by running 2 o sols with 7d, then dropping back to 9 defense when we moved flag. Hardcore turtling. I am not complaining here, but the point of the game is to capture the flag WHILE you defend it. Why ruin it in hopes for a tie or a lucky break because you know trouble was gonna happen if you didn't run more than 5 defense.
I'm done here and hopefully you can understand the fun aspect of capture the FLAG (yes both teams going for them).

-459 does this quite often. Maybe thats why they only play in tfl. On an openfire match round2 they used 7d including 2 demos spamming the Y, a soldier at the end of the water, and a hw in the water. Stowaway2 must've been even worse with 7d. Hopefully someday tfl will set a max d limit.

-459 + every other team in TFL does this. When we played in 4a the games were much more fun cause everyone didn't play like fags. The higher you go the more faggot teams there are. I can name a couple that aren't but 70% are.
The ofire match u r talkin about was actually logical. We were ahead it was end near end of round and was actually 6 D. Stowaway was just retarded.

I hate to disagree with you, but every team in TFL does not play like complete fucking non-offense retards. This is the first time in 2 years I have seen someone Turtle that bad.

I was so afraid of getting demolished in that game I came this close <--> to quitting TFC. Anyway, I didn't mean every team did, I meant every other team.. You have a team here which doesn't, next team does, this one doesn't, this one does... etc. What some of the people did was retarded I agree (for the third time), but get over it cause u raped us hard. We should be in fucking 4a anyway.
