AFM over dC

Tonight was an interesting one?for many reasons. I was planning on playing, but then this guy came over and begged to leave the comfortable setting of my computer and venture somewhere else. Anyway, I convinced him to wait until 10 PM CST, and then I?d grace him and others with my presence. Another interesting detail is that NK didn?t play. Yeah, apparently he has some sort of real life commitment on Thursdays, and actually goes outside?what a shocker that is.

Also, Kappa was feeling sick and didn?t want to play, but since he is the only one capable of playing HW, we made him play. Being apart of AFM requires dedication. Among the vows you take when you join is: ?I will slay the enemy team in sickness and in health.? Anyway, we played dC and they are a good group of guys, except one guy was upset that senor was so bad at OvO which doesn?t make sense, because I?d be happy if the other team was bad at OvO.

Round 1:
In honor of their foreign server, I took the name ?African_Server.? In any case, the round was fraught with me getting raped by people who had dC in their name. We get out 3 caps, and despite the fact that dC made it to our FR quite often, they didn?t manage to get out a cap. I started off pretty well, but at some point, I was just getting destroyed and couldn?t stay alive for more than 30 seconds or so.

Fortunately, Kappa was always there to compensate for my lack of skill. Mark does an excellent job as D demoman, and Cappy held his own in the ramp room. Fusion manages not to suck too much as D engy. I think he TKed me a few times, so fuck him.

Round 2:
We head over to AFM?s server, hoping that our pings will be better this round. At the beginning of the round, the pings were fine, but I wasn?t playing as well as I did round 1. The round goes by pretty quickly with dC giving us a scare, getting 3 caps in a row. This was basically Platypus? fault because he deflected kappa's mirv toward the rest of the D, killing us all. So we?re tied, but our O pulls one out, putting us over the top.

Our O managed to cap again twice, while we held off their O. Towards the end, the server craps out and starts spiking, or at least that?s when I noticed it. Anyway, dC said screw medics and sent 4 O soldiers at us, so I just threw nades, suicided, and grabbed more nades to throw.

D: Fusion/Platypus, mark, Kappa, Cappy, Unfor

We can conclude that Fusion is the greatest engy ever, and that Platypus just pales in comparison. I?d just like to say that dC is excellent at having their O group and attack together. Even though I hated being naded by 4 different people at the same time, I don?t think I?ve seen another clan play like that. SIN tried to do that, but failed miserably because they?re still learning how to actually prime grenades. Anyway, gg dC. I proclaim AFM as 3A champions of the Universe, ready to defend the title.
