Writeup:
BD over 5150
Alright I have yet another refill so I may now start the story of tonights adventure.
Once upon a time [BD] was scheduled to play [5150]. In the lands of the 4a predictions this was of mild interest, with people proclaiming winners on both sides. So as the days approached for the confrontation [BD] started its preperations.
Preperations you might ask? Well Funky was chase'n sheep around IRC, I was shopping for bottles of Crown, and Sin was testing his evasion skills from a certain US law inforcement group that shall not be named.
Then the big day arrived and nerves were tight. Especially mine due to low levels of ice in the fridge.
Next thing I know everyone is saying that the battle is about to begin. So while I am talking $ into pulling UT's first lineup for this weekends game in Oxford, the doors open and free's us to roam about the place.
Things went really quick from here and next thing I know everyone is leaving. Both sides took some damage and managed to achieve some of their goals. ( BD 130 5150 120 )
So I go and get a refill while wondering where everyone is hiding. Upon my return I am notified of a move and quickly race to reach the new place in time. Lucky me I made it :) and it all started over again.
This time 5150 attacked with vengence and making us even more Disgruntled than normal. Again things were fast paced and as time was running out it looked as if 5150 was easily going to manage a victory for this day. But then BD got on a role and started to regain ground. Fighting was extremely fierce anywhere you looked. Then all of a sudden the fighting once again stopped and the battle field was scortched and covered with the remains of fallen comrades. 5150 won this battle, but due to narrow range of victory one more fight was going to happen. ( 5150 130 BD 120 )
Again I go and get a refill and pray that my ice lasts for this finial onslaught.
5150 attacked without mercy and shifted to a stronger defensive position then normal. Both sides being hurt but 5150 managed some movement and never stopped. It took a while for BD to push through the 5150 defenses but after several attacks a gap was formed. Now both sides were nearly on equeal footing, but BD was atleast a min behind.
Attack after attack both sides edged their way toward victory and somehow Funky ran out of their base as if he were back on the farm, but was not able to reach the designated area. So dropping the stolen goods in the yard things went out of control. Everyone was either in the yard or in their entrances trying to both protect what is theirs and what they wanted.
Then out of no where Sin appears in the middle of the map and picked up what Funky had dropped. Obviously all that practice is well worth it. Within seconds he leaped into the air and landed to proclaimed a BD victory. ( BD 10 5150 0 )
So now I find myself exhausted and full of nervous energy and adrenaline, and ANOTHER empty cup.
So once again I make a finial trip to my poor depleted ice box and rushed here to share this epic adventure.
