RoC vs KoB on monkey_l, October 18th 2004
Well we were semi-confident going into this match. We got beaten quite respectfully (25-17) last week by dC which stopped us from moving up to gold which kind of sucks, but ah well. I wasn't there last week or else I'd ramble about that but here we go?
Round 1
Yah I didn't really play in this match but I'll give it to you from the perspective of someone who was in the shower for 10 minutes and watching on HLSW for around 5? When I first saw HLSW I thought we were getting trounced? In the top 5 scorers there were 4 KoB guys and 1 RoC. I got all inspired for round 2 and played Eye Of The Tiger over and over and over again and got pumped up, we all know this is required for playing video games to your maximum capabilities. From what I heard we pretty much traded caps for most of the round with the RoC D clamping down on a few flags and the offense stepping up.
Overall it was supposedly pretty balanced.

Round 2
This was easily the most fun round of monkey_l I've ever played.
Normally it's spammy and boring. This round was spammy and fun. Gemini and I spent around 20 minutes just throwing grenades at each other at water, which was pretty nifty. Throughout the whole round both teams traded the lead until the last 5-10 minutes. At this point the RoC D started to crack down a bit and the offense "kept on chuggin'".
