THOA! Couldn't wait for this one. Some good buds of ours to play against.
Rd1 on the dc west coast server of doom. It's pretty much cap for cap for the first 6. We both end up dropping a player at some point in the match, and a replacement comes in. That definitely jacked things up. dc d couldn't seem to find their ground until about 10 minutes remained, but the THOA o still played tough. dc o got a good couple hands' worth of caps, but not without some tough D to get past. dc performs some crazy aboriginal spamming operation at the end of rd1 and the score finishes at 10-6.
rd2 to the east enemy server. boo to recon! but believe it or not, dc D somehow did better with 110+ pings hehe. Pure luck... but the dc o was complaining up the wazoo. Haunt scored at least 2 caps I think this round, so he definitely won the match for dc. It's his bday tomorrow btw. Seemed like each cap was really worth 10 this rd. THOA mixed it up in a deadly combo of engy solly med scout you name it. definitely threw us off and i thought for sure they'd pull one out. Not this round, though - the fates wouldn't have it. dc wins 3-0.
