In the battle of who gets to advance to the state semi-finals in 4A Iowa state football, the 2 time defending champion valley tigers hosted the South East Polk Rams. Valley came into the game 10-0, and ranked 2nd in the state. South East Polk entered 9-1 ranked 5th in state. While Valley was the favorite, it became obvious early on that this was going to be a tight game. South East Polk strikes first, and took an early 7-0 lead, silencing the home crowd. alley came back with a field goal, and senior Mark Brayton took a punt 75 yards for a TD to put valley up 10-0. Defenses controlled the rest of the game, and the teams headed into halftime with valley up 10-7. It remained that way until the 4th quarter, where Valley looked to put the game away when they had the ball at the Rams 2 yard line following a 54 yard run from Zach Sandvig. Senior Jerrod Gaskill fumbled, giving Southeast Polk new life. The rams drove the ball down to the Valley 40, via a few questionable calls. With !
1 minute left, Valley forced the Rams to turn the ball over on downs, giving them the 10-7 victory.

O yea, TFC, was talking about my night. Rd1 on SoLs server, we came in a little disorganized and confused which left the posse of zombies digruntled, to go along with losing rd1 by 1.
