Writeup:

3Q over TFCC

Map: Bases2k3 (8v8)
Opponent: TFCC

Ah, monday night TFC - toss a few beers back and kick back for some shits and giggles. We're doing this writeup a bit different in that we have me doing the D writeup and Atticus doing the O writeup.

D writeup - round1
Here's the deal with round1... our D was clickin' nicely with good comms and coordination - we kept the TFCC offense pounded back and away from our flag for most of the round. Our offense was in the same groove and was having a field day with the TFCC flag keeping a nice stream of caps coming all round.
D lineup... skull, hayden, exe, noisome

O-writeup - round1
We rushed in TFCC's flagroom but we were met by two fine looking soldiers who blasted us into oblivion. However, I (Atticus) managed to get a little sneak touch on the flag. That set off a chain reaction of caps coming in from 3Q, at several times the TFCC defense put down a foot and stopped our inevitable assaults on their flagroom. We managed to move their foot and the capping frenzy began. I kept thinking, "Oh, here come the complaints, but no." TFCC played so clean and so fair it might of been the greatest TFC match this year for me.
I respected TFCC before and I still do. Such a great group of guys/gals...I remember my score being over one-hundred due to the beautiful work of 3Q's spy the master of them all "Wardy." I recall having an hundred ping on 3Q's server I was pleading for a better ping. The TFC answered my call when Round 1 ended in a breathtaking performance by the 3Q offense and the 3Q defense. TFCC was still looking for the correct strats to use but in the end they stopped us for awhile for about seven minutes if I recall correctly. Very hard and tough played Round 1.

Round1 score: 3Q 240 - TFCC 45

D writeup - round2
Round2 was a much tighter contest - TFCC really sucked it up on D and O and was really hammering away at our D like there was no tomorrow. Their combination of spammy demo :p and relentless concing meds/scout really had our D guys on their heels. Meanwhile our O was having some comm issues and wasn't able to have the same success as round1.
D lineup... skull, hayden, 203, noisome

O-writeup - round2
We lost our nomable spy Wardy, but the offense said, "Screw the east coasters." (Just kidding, I said that.) :). West coast server! Ohh...were the pings sweet for us West Coasters. It felt sweeter than a cold pepsi on a winter day. (Cali people will know what I mean, it's freaking hot in the winterreatest TFC match this year for me.

Anyways...back to the action! 3Q runs into the powerful and determined TFCC defense and they hung us up by our boxers/briefs and started paddling us throughout the game. Ventrillo died for the offense and our communication was sent to hell, but we played better than before. Our capping frenzy had disintegrated into the dust and the TFCC offense set to work on 3Q's defense managing to lead for awhile, but the imcommunicable 3Q offense decided to take their lead back and began capping. The perfect ending to a perfect match.

Round2 score: 3Q 75 - TFCC 75

Final score: 3Q 315 - TFCC 120
