AFM over t3

I hope you don't find this writeup offensive, since it is not meant to be. I just thought the comments were a little funny. I'm not sure what to title this writeup, but since it was fraught with the usual e-drama, I've narrowed it down to Guiding rocket, As the Grenade Explodes, and Days of our TFC Lives. Travis (neuri) lives for the drama. Well, we finally got out of that wretched 3A division. I think some of us were severely disappointed because we couldn't act like jackasses to KoB/SIN among other select 3A clans that we've had problems with in the past. We didn't mean to go +7 or whatever it is that we went. It was an unexpected accident that caused us to move up. Anyway, we had to deal with it.

So we had the chance to play t3, a relatively new clan that has several established TFC players amidst it. We weren't sure what to expect, but we took it like we take everything: a tall glass of hard liquor followed by a shot of apathy (craig sudiphed adams style).

t3 wanted to use two unrostered players and asked that we take off ringerfree. I was unwilling to do so and I relayed that to kappa. The threat of not playing at all however changed my stance. I allowed them to use their player and since one of our players (Sutterkane) dropped I asked to use an unrostered player as well. So, Neuri made his triumphant return to TFC under the wing of the machine.

Just for the record, Innoko was very convincing:

Right, so it took a while before they fully realized that we were willing to play. After that, things were swell...for a little bit.

We opted to use an unconventional style of play (i.e. a D sniper up top), and I don't think t3 enjoyed AFM's brand of unusual drunken fragging.

Round 1: We asked wraithforger to spec just to ensure that nothing went wrong. He gladly obliged. We started off strong, getting touches and caps, while t3 is unable to really penetrate the AFM D. We start to pull away, but t3 shows that they've got some fight left in them. Neuri is a machine and we manage to hold things down. AFM pulled away and the round ended 11-5 in favor of AFM.

Recess: nothing happens, they don't talk to us, we head into their server for round2.

Round 2: This round was a little different than the first. It was a low scoring round, and I think we used 6 D for a large portion of it (I'm not sure, all I remember is tom ([afm]evo] cleaning up my shit when I died. Anyway, things get out of hand, mm1 comments were exchanged (mostly from their side I believe, but I had some members of our O muted so I can't be sure). Abiding by TFL rules, our O decided to potshot and kill their O. I didn't have too much of a problem with it since I suck and they were just easing my burden. The round ended 2-2.

Final score: 13-7 (AFM)

Well, t3 did not enjoy the match. I tried to convince them that we did not purposely play lame, but they weren't convinced. Here are some funny post-match comments (there was more I think, but I didn't care enough to include it):
