After stealing ]['s IGL title, we had to defend our long held STA title on a map we had little match experience on. PF had played this map one time before on Tempest, and had lost horribly to KiN. According to ]['s page, they had beaten WOLF and lost to NULL. The match began with ]['s ninth joining at the last seconds of prematch. Crims got an early touch on their flag but didn't manage to take it anywhere. Soon after, PF moved the flag out of their base and capped. Our defense kept ]['s flag touches to minimal while Cyric, Kastro, Crims and I tore up their defense, getting cap after cap. Finally after ][ watched their flag leave their base so many times, they made it to our flag and moved it for three points. It returned and ][ took it out again, this time for the full fifteen points. After outplaying ][ for thirty minutes, PF came out on top by 6 caps.

Due to high ping, Vega had to sit this round. Macros took his spot and we added another defender. The match was stale for the first twenty or so minutes, except for the part when DoDo told me to 'keep the mm1 to myself, kid' after I laughed at his caltrop death. Thankfully, that kept Destro and Macros from falling asleep. Machine complained of being nuked all night, but nothing could be confirmed. ][ sent nearly all their players on offense and eventually broke through our defense and capped it. That made the score 15-3. I dragged myself from our RR, put away my crowbar and headed back out to their base with Cyric. We killed Moo, brought down the sentry gun and ran off with the flag. Our defense kept the flag in it's place for the rest of the match. Tensions became high when DoDo told Crims to shut up after he complained about the map design. Luckily, the match ended soon after with PF on top, again.
