Writeup:

Ak over KoB

Before I tell my version of the events, I will recollect the match
in my teammates' own words:

Abolish: When it is considered how short is the span of human life,
does it really matter to a man whose days are numbered what government
he must obey, so long as he is not compelled to act against God or
his conscience?

Deadpool/Griffith(a.k.a. The Dark Lord Femto):
Lord Voldemort showed me how wrong I was. There is no good and evil,
there is only power, and those too weak to seek it....

Orange: I didn't want to kill them all! I didn't want to kill
anybody! I'm not a killer! You didn't want me, you bastards, you
wanted Peter, but you made me do it, you tricked me into it!

sik: How well have computers been taught to jump out of the system?
I will cite one example which surprised some observers. In a computer
chess tournament not long ago in Canada, one program--the weakest of
all the competing ones--had the unusual feature of quitting long
before the game was over. It was not a very good chess player, but it
at least had the redeeming quality of being able to spot a hopeless
position, and to resign then and there, instead of waiting for the
other program to go through the boring ritual of checkmating.
Although it lost every game it played, it did it in style. A lot of
local chess experts were impressed. Thus, if you define 'the system'
as being 'whatever the computer had been programmed to do', then there
is no doubt that the computer had no ability whatsoever to exit from
that system.

Gunner: It was then that someone crept stealthily up to me. I tried
to see who it was, but the darkness had pressed in and enveloped me.
Someone--someone drew the knife from my chest with a hand I could not
see. At the same time, blood welled up into my mouth. And I sank into
the darkness of limbo forever.

SWC: Let's go back to the question we started with 'Can you use drugs
and not abuse them?' 'Can you abuse drugs and not become addicted to or
dependent on them?' The answer to the first question is yes. Obviously,
some people drink wine or beer on a regular basis without drinking to
excess. Although it is not commonly believed, some people use drugs such
as heroin, cocaine, or crack (a form of cocaine) on an occasional basis
(for instance, several times a year) without abusing them. What is
disturbing is that we do not know ahead of time who might be likely to
lose control and abuse these drugs, and who is likely to become dependent
with even a passing use of a substance.

Swank: Our highest assurance of the goodness of Providence seems to me
to rest in the flowers. All other things, our powers, our desires, our
food, are really necessary for our existence in the first instance. But
this rose is an extra. Its smell and its colour are an embellishment of
life, not a condition of it. It is only goodness which gives extras, and
so I say again that we have much to hope from the flowers.

design: Speed was obviously decisive in allowing a chain of infection
to remain unbroken from port to port. Since it creates immunities among
survivors, 'Pasteurella pestis' was, after all, certain to run out of
susceptible hosts among a ship's company of rats, fleas, and men within a
few weeks. In the days of sail, the oceans had simply been too wide for
the disease to survive on shipboard long enough to make a lodgment in the
seaports and waiting rodent communities of America and South Africa.
But when steamships began to travel faster and, being bigger, perhaps
also carried larger populations of rats among whom the infection could
circulate longer, the oceans suddenly became permeable as never before.

Welll... That was all very interesting, guys.
(Btw, we need some sexy female players to join the clan to help
divide us. If you're cute and female and happen to be reading this...
wait, what am I saying.. that's asking too much, isn't it? *sigh*.)

As I was saying, the words of my fellow Annihilation Krew members were
both eloquent and facetious. I feel that their words may not accurately
convey the occurences of said match. Therefore, I will retell the
events in light of my unique perspective (fov 150).

Round 1:
Forthwith, the enemy offense found our base and proceeded to examine
the decoration and coloration along the walls. I observed a scout
intently staring at the icon affixed to our base entrance. I did ask
him what was so transfixing about it, and the poor fellow replied,
It looks different from our base. I was so used to home.. and now I'm
here. Wherever this is... it is captivating. The colors--the gorgeous
shades flowing from deepest darkness to neon embers--I have not seen
any abode that stands to comparison.
Apparently our D's homemaking skills were top-notch. With a depth of
feeling for the misplaced children who wandered from the enemy's
occupance, `ak_ took the round 6-2.

Round 2:
Fatigued by a week of midterms and monumental projects, I withdrew from
this round as design took my place on Offense. From my ivory tower on
high (Ventrilo), I deduced player movements and felt a sudden wave of
sadness pass over me. I realized our team was destined to shut out this
round! Our Defense exalted eachother with laudatory words (metallic bars
pounded on the bony shells of the enemy minds, and Gunner engaged in a
technological congress strictly utilizing the railgun), while our
Offense performed a recital of fabric homecoming as sik played the role
of harsh dominatrix. With hearts full of mercy, and chests full of
youthful indulgence, `ak_ took the round 7-0.

And let us hope that I find the time to write yet another truthful
recounting of `ak_'s misadventures.

On behalf of the Annihilation Krew,
GG to -KoB-

Ahhhh, such a great write-up! Kudos to you, Kaleign, for such prose and imagination, severely lacking from most write-ups, who are either just "GG" or verse in the scatological side of things. So once again, congrats for the superb write-up. I didn't play the match, but it sounded like we got raped! Another missed opportunity for wrench kills! GG! KoB-Gibmanmtl`Qc
