TNT over ARES
last week of RUN, and the cries of mercy are heard the world over.. I personally like the map, as do several other TNT'ers, but there are a few who downright hate it. /shrug It's been an iffy map for us in the past.. last time it was in rotation, we bombed. Prior to that, we ownd. The last two weeks proved to be fruitful for us, so I guess next time it comes around, we'll end up backing one out again. Who knows! Maybe it's a ~3.14 thing.
Tonight was -{ARES}-'s 100th match, and to that we congratulate them! It takes integrity not often seen these days to help a clan/family last through so many games. I appluad you!
Round1 (ARES server, shoddy TNT HLTV)
Things started quickly as both teams got on the server and were sorted out fast, so there was no need for a restart. TNT made the first 2 caps, then ARES scored, and tied us after a couple more. The rest of the round went back and forth, finally ending in a tie. Nemesis, our 2nd oldest fart and king of the hill, actually scored a cap for the first time since the 90's. We shall investigate how this tragedy was allowed to happen. TNT's well renowned server "Speciale Recipe" was the star of our show, as it tried (and failed) to run HLTV and our Ventrilo server sufficiently. For both, we suffered disconnect/reconnect problems through the round, so we were probably as confused as this dude's (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_1315211.html) wife. TNT 6, ARES 6
Round 2 (TNT gets Secrete Sauce online for a server, and HLTV seems to have worked)
We scrambled to get a server up for us to play on, as we couldn't use Recipe for fear of constant disconnects. It seemed to run HLTV ok in r2 though. Pings were much improved, I think, for both sides, so Lep calmed down. (that coulda been because he's got the hawts for HK) Anyways, the round played out much like the first; then TNT took a 3 point lead. This bled down to a 2 point lead, and then the match ended. I prolly tried as hard to TK Bond as much as anything else, but I KNOW Peat and Crak did. Monkies. TNT 6, ARES 4
GG ARES, glad the match went smoothly (all things considered)
Cheers,
TNT Zor
