dR over SMP
On dR's side, we had major roster issues. at practice we only had 5. around match time, we barely had 8. so off we go before our strat was solidified.
Rnd1: dR server, everyone piled in. SMP stated they only had 8 and would play 8vs8. i turned rf to let 2 of their players in. rnd starts off clustered as usual. no one really knowing what to do other than camp, mulch, kill, and tk. i dont play tfc much, and i suck at hw and now most other classes, but i wanted to play hw. so i got to of course since no one else took the spot. both teams had similar strats. rush the middle and keep pushing on. we tk'd ourselves often and denied our own caps. both teams were able to hold and secure the opponents arena often with the aid of an offensive teleporter by SMP. for a good 20 min, neither team got the scrummage. dR came close once but finally got one near the end of the match. spies wrecked havok on us as well as the tremendous amount of explosives everywhere. due to luck, we were able to pull ahead at 156-102 but that map could have easily been overturned to smp's win.
