GU over TNT
I was looking forward to this 9vs9 for awhile. This is GU?s first 9v9 and it showed, we only had 5 show up. Fortunately, we weren?t playing complete assholes and TNT waited until our 6th showed.
Rd1. We start off with 5 but our 6 comes in shortly. Apparently, our cheetah got a quick cap on the rush, but lions > cheetahs so he sucked the rest of the round. So our D got completely raped time and time again, especially the det pack through the vent. Anyway, round1 ends 70-10 TNT.
Rd2. Killab is still pissed that no one showed. Somehow everqueer decided to come on and play with us so we had 7. Unfortunately I have never seen him play any class except D demo and we put him on O. Yeah, I thought we were screwed. We get a cap and they get a cap. I realize killab is no 4est and I tell him to play sol. He cried cause he never plays sol but he toughen up and took it like a man. Surprisingly he did very well. Nevertheless misery blued anyone who passed and I just randomly shot my ac. Our O was slowly capping (I blame it on V cause he?s slow) I suggested that Schism go O. He didn?t and we slowly capped some more. Killab informed us that there was a few minutes left and we needed one to win. Killab went O and somehow helped pull out a cap. I told him to get back on D, cause we only had 3. Then with one minute left syphon gets a relay. I was told, Killab and syphon start shaking in excitement (probably their mating ritual). Finally, syphon caps !
with seconds to spare and then misery got a crazy blue. I laughed. 80-10 GU.
