[RoC] over HOP
Well we practiced tempest_r3 last night for a while and then for an hour today. A few minutes before we were scheduled to play HOP told us they only had 7 guys around and wanted to play an 8v8 map. We decided to ?roll wit it? and decided on playing 2fort. We started off on our friendly server and this is where the story kind of began.
Round 1, as I said, began on REALM II on 2fort. We were kind of scrambling for positions during prematch but had a good grasp of what we were doing. 2fort seems to be a universal favorite for RoC apart from for a few very unimportant exceptions ;D. I also managed to rediscover the power of music and tfc. It?s a good feeling. Anyways, the match was pretty even for the first 5-10 minutes with both teams pulling a few flags. About 10 minutes in the RoC defense really stepped up and held HOP out for the rest of the round. The RoC offense started off well and kept up their momentum for the entire round. We ended up capping quite a few and it was quite a good time.

HOP decided to forfeit round 2. To be honest I was rather relived since I?ve been letting my 15 year old facial hair go kind of crazy over the last few days. It?s just time. Therefore, good game HOP, good game both O and D and also good game facial hair, may you rest in piece in the pipes of my sink.
