Rabid over BoA
First off thanks for changing the map BoA. Rabid could only bring 8 players to the table and we let them pick a new map to play. If it wasnt for this, we would of probably not played at all.
R1 started up on rabid's server and for the first 15 mins was goin good, but as we all know Offensive engy's are gonna get the shit end of the stick. So us offy players do some damage to the o engy.. somewhere minimal potshots ended up happening between the meds, then a full out yard fight ended up. We normally do not like matches going this way.. in fact out of 225 or so matches I can only recall this happening 2-3 times, but if u are gonna run an O engy in an 8vs8 map , we are going to slow that EMP spammin guy before he reaches our base, you better beleive it!
R2 was a lot more fun... but they lost a player for a large amount of the time. They might have even won this round or pulled a real close 1 cap match if it wasnt for this. Glad to report there was NO o vs o, and just pure clean fun the entire round. Rabid offy was pretty consistant and kept the caps coming.
Again, sorry r1 ended up the way it did, which was not the intention, and im glad we atleast got 1 good round in for the night.

should have just said 'gg' kev.. i think kev was the only guy shooting the o engy from boa, once he started shooting back at us was when the rest of rabid o started ovoing causing the whole heitous rd1.
whatever.. wish we had played vidars, bakeds not fun

yet another g3y game by rabid, they will be in 1a again soon. it is a shame that such a talented clan goes to such g3y lengths in a game.

i've played rabid quite a bit and they are almost always a classy bunch, even in extremely close matches (darkness from like a year ago :x gg) and they deserve some respect at least imo

Just so I understand, they played a map 8v8 because you couldn't field 9, but then they lost a guy in r2 and you played a man up?
Unless you idled a guy r2 and just forgot to mention it in the write-up that sounds pretty weak.
Am I misunderstanding?

No shady, you are right. Rabid was down a man, so we played 8v8, and changed the map for them, then rd2 we lost a guy, and they used it to their advantage. Oh well, you do what you gotta do to win.

wow, didn't realize this was still going...
Yes , we dropped a guy both rounds. Rnd 1 he came back after about 2-3 minutes. Rnd 2 different player dropped and never came back. Luckily someone came in with about 10 minutes left and gave us a nice boost. I don't hold it against them to play us 8-7, it really wasn't something we havent dealt with before. The OvO was the only issue I had, adn it was only part of the ovo. I fully expect an oposing O team member to shoot an O engy. I would too if I was on O. The other OvO was uncalled for, and made it a lot less fun than it should have been. We will play again. We have learned our lesson, and look forward to it.
