It seems like it's been forever since I've had the pleasure of visiting the Submit Scores page on STA's site. I haven't been looking forward to this, I must admit.
Last week we played GoW, who proved to be pretty stiff competition, given that we had no practice and a very vague sense of how to play the map. We lost to GoW, but had much to think about for this week.
This week we also decided to go inactive in TFL (hopefully just temporarily), since our showings on thursday nights were pathetic. So all we had to think about was yeger_wig for this week.
Making comeback appearances tonight were our beloved Sub, and our not-so beloved Sponge. Both played quite well... but are still not as good as me. And of course not as good as sid, roflf.
Round 1

Rd1's in K}{R's server and it's a pretty one. Reminiscent of the servers of days long past; when drinks were cheap and the women were cheaper, and a half-shot of brandy and a stiff upper lip could bring you all the trouble in the world.
Everyone clicked for this round. K}{R made sure ot make it clear that this wasn't their map. They lost last week against S-CREW by some hefty numbers, so we were sort of optimistic coming into it.
Rd1 begins and the capping never really stops. I do most of the hard work while sug steals all of the caps.
With about 3 or 4 minutes left in the match, someone brings out a flag that I probably did all the work to get. In the yard they say "Here rage, take this one." So I high-tail it to the yard to grab it only to find some fuck-faced D player (germ) now playing medic. He grabs it and caps instead.
As a result, rage went capless, and germ is hereby benched indefinitely.
O brings in a pretty steady stream, although K}{R does make a few spammy holds on it. SG's don't seem to do much for them against us on this map, and ... yeah. On Defense, sub is doing hot, as we all knew he would, and sponge is too busy thinking about Law and Order re-runs to really play well.
They only let up a handful of caps, and we come out of rd1 with smiles on our faces. Then sid shows up in IRC and kills the high.

Round 2

So as I said, sid shows up and pisses everyone off. IRC turns into a gay fagfest at the mere presence of him. We switch up a few players; letting some O play D, and some D play O. Germ goes to have sex, or something.
Back at the K}{R saloon for rd2, sid adorns his pink Chaps and climbs on top of the nLv steed. A presence like none other fills the air as he enters the swinging doors. The dusted swirls of the setting sun made fancy of the golden locks that flowed down his face. Trails of tears once shed drilled their way through the plastered and caked makeup on his once youthful face. Sid had come back to me, and brought all of the trouble in the world with him.
Rd2 starts. Sid sucks at sol, but he plays anyways. He doesn't stop complaining the entire round. Sug is also terrible at D demo, so sponge ends up having to do it. Meanwhile nom, sub, and I carry the team (but mostly me), in a flurry/flurries of spam and penis-holding.
The monsoon outside kicks in about midway and the scent of fresh rain drizzles through my open windows, enforcing thoughts of splendor on my already busy mind, and masking the turbulent thoughts of sid naked that had since cast themselves upon my velvet top.
K}{R has the lead for most of rd2. nLv ties it up towards the end of the round and we hold out for the tie. A very clean and fun game - K}{R are as good sports as ever, so it was a pleasure.
I get dominated playing engy, but that's ok, because sid, with his hands spun of pure silk, and his lips of satin, caressed my bossom and soothed my soul.
